detrimental impacts to wildlife and wildlife habitat in the riparian azea, the Division continues to <br />recommend that the 200'-300' setback from the treeline be maintained. It is also recommended that the <br />prairie dog colony remain; alternatively, the colony may be moved to a suitable location nearby. The <br />Corps of Engineers identified Little Dry Creek as a jurisdictional wetlands. Since the project azea east of <br />the creek consists mainly of disturbed agricultural land, a 50' setback from the east side of the creek is <br />recommended. It is also recommended to follow Weld County's guidelines regarding weed control of <br />the project site and the Natural Resource Conservation Service guidelines on revegetation of the area <br />using native species to enhance wildlife habitat. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment on this project.
