Estimated costs for Tusks 2 end <br />3 depend on the corrs(ruction schedule of the contractor at the San Luis Project. tasks 4, 6, <br />and B are to be conducted es directed by DMG. <br />As we discussed by telephone, we propose to conduct the work on a unlt price basis for <br />actual work performed and actual expenses incurred, according to WWL's 1993 standard unit <br />rates. This rate schedule is attached with this letter. No adjustment 4f these unit rates will <br />be made for overtime work by WWL professional staff. <br />A$ mentioned in your October 12 letter, invoicing will be on a monthly basis to 4MG, with <br />time sheet end expense backup provided with the Invoices. According to WWL procedures, <br />billing will be on an end-of-month cycle, with invoices sent to DMG by the tenth of the <br />following month. Explanation of invoice charges by task and a summary of work Conducted <br />during the invoice period will be provided with the invoice for Division and [3MRI use. <br />Pertinent insurance coverage for WWL staff is not included with thts letter. We anticipate that <br />thls will be provided es requested as part of the third-party contract arrangements, <br />SCHEDULE <br />We realize that time is of the essence for BMG and OMG in execution of th@ technical <br />oversight work for the San Luis Project, since it affects a construction sch@dule that is nearing <br />the end of favorable weather for construction, As we discussed by telephone, we'can adjust <br />our Work schedule to conduct the review of project documents this week (October 18-22). <br />Wa would be prepared t0 discuss issues with Division staff as early as October 25, and could <br />be available for a site visa es early as October 28 or 29. We could be prepared.to provide <br />field testing Oversight es early as October 28. Another alternative would be to meet with <br />pMG staff to initially discuss technical issues on October 19. <br />I have previous travel commitments October ZO-22 and October 26-27, but can be available <br />by telephone during those periods. Doug Gibbs has a previous travel commi9meht October <br />25-27, but could be available for field construction oversight soon after that trip, <br />
