'` ~` Mayo andAssocl'a-es, LG <br />COIIC1US1OIIS <br />Barren Member, B-seam and deep rock units are not in hydraulic <br />communication with each other or with the surface <br />Deep in-mine groundwaters are ~ 10,000 to 20,000 years old. <br />Each major fault related groundwater discharge has issued from <br />hydrodynamically separate groundwater systems <br />Solute and temperature indicate that groundwater does not discharge <br />from deep sources (i.e. Mancos Shale) <br />Fault related discharges originate in fractures in the Rollins Sandstone, <br />which are in communication with faults. <br />CHq gas is largely restricted to the B-A seam interval and this gas <br />pressure was significant in fault blowouts. <br />
