The discharge resulted from a faulty clamp in the connection
between the spillway riser and discharge pipe, and the NOV was
issued for failure to maintain the structure in operating
condition. The pond had been pumped down and was no longer
discharging by the afternoon of November 27, and the operator has
indicated that the loose clamp was repaired on December 2.
Please call me in Grand Junction at (970) 242-5025 if you have any
questions, or require additional information.
Sincere y,
~ ~~~
Dan T.
