5. Based upon the recommendation of the Division, it is appropriate for the Boazd to grant the <br />Operator's amendment application for AM-OS to extend the life of the Climax Mine for 25 <br />years and to require the Operator to conduct information briefings before the Board every <br />five years, commencing in 2011. The briefings should include a discussion of the mining <br />and reclamation status of both the Climax and Henderson Mines and the molybdenum <br />mazket. In addition to the Division recommendation, it is appropriate for the Board to <br />require the Operator to report to the Board within ninety (90) days whenever a significant <br />change at the mine is anticipated. <br />ORDER <br />M-1977-493 <br />Climax Mine <br />
