James Van Ella
180 Lane 200 Bass Lake
Angola, Indiana 46703
March 15, 2005
Carl,
The reason I said "conversion" is fmm what I recieved from you! This is not a new
application. Our permit number is M1992-045. I askeri you for help and you denied me!
I asume since there is a place to check one, either a new application or a conversion, I
had to check conversion! Now what the H E L L is it?
The distrubance is fmm All Right Mining or Top of the World Placer permit number
M85-061 and Carlton Carr was the operator. There was a $5,000.00 bond money that
DMG got and didn't do aay reclamation toward the surface distrutiance. We DO NOT
want to be held responsibile for this mess.
Jim McCardel and Dirt_N-Iron did haul off accumulated JiJNR but did not do any land
reclamation that was caused by All Right Minim,
QVe want you to acknowledge that there was a previous distrnbance! If you go back to
York-Fern's inspection report when we recieved our permits he noted that there was
previous distrubance...now we amend our permit that will take us into previous
disturbed land. We do not want to be held liable for all the land distrubance dating as
far back as 1920's. We feel that we neat to have something fmm DMG documenting
that we did not do any of that land distrvbance so we can move forward with the
amended permit We do not think this is being unreasonable.
I have enclosed a map.
since V
rvU~
Deanna Van Ella
RECEIVE®
MAR 9 7 2005
Division of Minerals and Geology
cc.H Bruce Humphries
cc.Rusaeli George
