Dept of Natural Resources
As stated over the phone Thursday, March 29, 1984, Blue Ribbon
Coal Company feels that the N.O.V. C-84-004 has been adequately
resolved to allow the removal of the Cease and Desist Order as of
3:00 p.m., March 29> 1984.
The diversion has been re-established around the pile, and the
topsoil has been uncovered. A straw dike has been established in
the diversion to clarify water that flows in the re-established
ditch. Minor amounts of coal will be cleaned up by hand as conditions
warrant. Pictures have been taken to show the work that was done.
If there are any further questions, please feel free to contact
me or Julian Mitchell.
Very truly yours,
I-~n2 b~, ~~_ ~ 1
Larry M.
