ALBERT FRET AND 80NB, INC. PwoE 2
BOND EBTIMATE -EXISTING CONDITIONS
JULY 26. 2002
The method used to revegetate the benches will remain as
currently permitted. According to this scenario, Frei will have
to respread 22,817 cubic yards of soil; do 330,100 cubic yards of
cut work on the benches; and revegetate 17.64 ac. t. The amount
of soil that will be re-spread is based on an average of 12
inches. Our cost estimate to do all of the shaping in this cost
estimate is based on using a D-8N dozer for the cut work; a 988
loader for resoiling, and a 140G Blade to shape and grade the
mine floor. The costs for a 235 track hoe, with a 2 yd bucket
and long shank were used to calculate the cost of sloping the
growth medium pile. Blasting costs are all inclusive in that
they include the cost for drilling, dust control, blasting
materials, powder delivery, labor to load and supervise the blast
preparation, and grading the benches after the blasting is
complete with a D8N dozer. The revegetation cost figure includes
grass seed, mulch, chemical fertilizer (ammonium nitrate &
superphosphate} and drilling costa. The tree costs include the
materials and planting labor.
The volume of material that will be moved to create each
bench is found on TABLE 1. Each bench varies in width from 18 to
51 feet wide and from 23 to 77 feet high. We used 1255 feet for
the length of each bench. The following table is a recap of the
various information provided in the supporting data and figures
that follow this text and used on the calculation page.
STAGE (UNITS Ac., LFT, CY SO-
FT OR PIECES)
RECLAMATION ACTIVITY I Y SOIL
PILE TOTALS
REBOIL 13.77 0.37 - 14.14
REVEGETATE 13.77 0.37 3.50 17.64
COMMERCIAL AREA 18.00 0.55 - 18.55
UNROADABLE 8 SCRAP LOADS 35 - - 35
BENCH AREA BLASTING 330,100 - - 330,100
TOE SLOPE SHAPING 90,000 - - 90,000
DEMOLITION 270 - - 270.00
ROADS 1.17 0.25 - 1.42
TREES 260 - - 260
LIST OF FIGURES AND TABLES TO BE USED WITH THIS ESTIMATE.
• TABLE 1 - RECAP OF AREA NEEDING RECLAMATION
• DATA SHEET - INFORMATION PERTINENT TO THIS BSTIMATS.
• FIGURE L-1 - BAST AND NORTH WALL PLAN VIEWS.
• FIGURE L-2 - ienaT WALL - SOUTH AREA - SECTION A-A'
• FIGURE L-3 - EAST WALL - NORTH AREA - SECTION B-B'
• FIGURE L-4 - TOS SLOPS CROSS SECTION
• FIGURE L-5 - GROWTH MEDIUM SLOPS CROSS SECTIONS
