Cottony <br />Fraser CO 80442 Division Director <br />I Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Alma Placer Mine, Amendment Approval with Stiputation(s), Permit No. M-1985-029, Revision No. AM-4 <br />Deaz Mr. Ducommun: <br />On May 21, 2004 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Amendment application, with one stipulation, <br />submitted to the Division on January 9, 2004, addressing the following: <br />Amend the permit application to revise the mining and reclamation plans to enlarge gravel mining area, add a <br />portable concrete plant, modify gold mining methods and sequence, change post-mining land use and update the overall <br />reclamation plan. <br />The terms of the Amendment No. 4 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1985-029. All <br />other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1985-029 remain in full force and effect. The sfipulafion resulting <br />from this approval is a standazd spill notification stipulation attached to all new and/or revised permit applications. It is <br />considered as a rider to the permit and is attached as page two of this document. <br />The estimated reclamation liability amount for this amendment is $113,835.00. The existing liability amount for this site <br />is $34,165.00. Therefore, the new reclamation liability for this site is $148,000.00. Please submit additional bond in the <br />amount of $113,835.00 or a replacement bond in the amount of $148,000.00.
