Box 700 <br /> Nucla, Colorado 81424 <br /> Re: Ike No. 1 Mine - File No. M-77-451 <br /> Dear Mr. Hester: <br /> The report requesting the extension of the temporary cessation commencing Dn <br /> December 23, 1986 for the above-captioned operation was received by the <br /> Division on November 20, 1986 and satisfied the requirements of Rule 1 .63. <br /> Pursuant to Rule 1 .62(2)(c), this item will not be formally considered at the <br /> December 19, 1986 meeting of the Mined Land Reclamation Board. Instead, the <br /> receipt of this extension request will be noted in the monthly activity report <br /> appended to the agenda. San Miguel County has been notified of the Division's <br /> receipt of the temporary cessation extension request. <br /> Please be aware of Rule 1 .63, particularly the clause which states: <br /> ". . . In no case shall temporary cessation be continued for more than ten <br /> years without terminating the mining operation and fully complying with <br /> the reclamation requirements of this article". <br /> Except for Limited Impact (110) operations, annual reports and fees will <br /> continue to be required to be submitted on or before the permit anniversary <br /> date each year. <br /> If you have any questions, please contact me. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Mark S.
