TECHNICAL REVISION <br /> The total area contained under this measurement [excluding the St. Vrain River <br /> � g j <br /> is 396.1057 acres, and not 384.0000 (149.0 Original + 155.0 Amendment 1 + 80.0 <br /> Amendment 21 acres, as reported in the sum of previous submittals. Again, the <br /> increase in area reported is attributed to more reliable measurements and the <br /> elimination of mapping error, than to any actual increase to the permit area, <br /> since no boundary lines previously shown have been breached. The change is <br /> therefore, administrative. <br /> As indicated in the Original submittal of 1 August 1996, the information <br /> contained in this Addendumto the Technical Revision is intended to Benchmark <br /> this site. All subsequent Annual Reports, Technical Revisions, Amendments, <br /> Field Activities, Warranty Determinations, or other Administrative, Regulatory, <br /> Technical, or Field based activities will be built upon this Benchmark. <br /> This Benchmark in effect redefines the site with improved clarity and accuracy <br /> intended to benefit all subsequent communications concerning activities or intent <br /> at this site. Three Tables were generated to summarize the measurements and <br /> field observations resulting from the June 1986 aerial photography and related <br /> computer aided measurements and mapping. Each area identified on the Tables <br /> corresponds to areas identified on Map II - Reclamation/Warranty <br /> Determinations. <br /> • Table 1: Summary of Affected Land - relates the total acres <br /> attributed to each area identified on Map II. <br /> • Table 2: Financial Warranty Determinations - utilizes <br /> DMG assumptions to validate the current financial warranty <br /> liability on the site. <br /> • Table 3: Descriptions of Areas - complies with information <br /> required under Rule 4.16, in conformance with information <br /> necessary for inclusion in a Reclamation Report/Release <br /> Request. The Descriptions include areas to be release and <br /> retained in the permit area, including the status of grading, <br /> resoiting, and revegetation efforts across the site. <br /> Tables 1-3 are self explanatory for the most part. Some considerations should <br /> be expanded upon however: <br /> I. The Amendment Area has been adjusted under this submittal. The entire <br /> Amendment 2 Area is presently unaffected by extraction and the entire area is <br /> Varra Companies, Inc. - Pit 1 - DMG Permit M-74-052 2 <br /> Addendum - TECHNICAL REVISION - 08/16/96. <br />
