PERMANENT MAN-MADE STRUCTURES EXHIBIT S
The following is an inventory of man-made structures within 200 feet of the permit azea. All of
these structures are shown on Map C-2. The land boundaries aze shown on Map C-1. Due to the
fact that the gravel is competent, and due to the precautions outlined in the plan for slopes and
setbacks, there is no possibility that slope stability failures could cause damage to any structure
outside the permit boundary or inside the boundary (such as the power pole set). The engineering
demonstration which provides the detail to support this conclusion is presented in the Geotechnical
Stability Exhibit at the end of this application.
A) Bridge over Uncompaghre River, 3-12" CMPs on access road, one concrete ditch crossing, 2
dirt access roads in the permit azea owned by the landowners.
B) The three strand barbed wire fence with wood posts along the south and west perimeter of the
property line (and permit boundary). A number of bazbed wire fences that aze internal to the permit
area. These fences aze owned by the landowners.
C) Various PVC pipes, valves, CMPs, fences and water treatment ponds owned by the West
Montrose Sanitation District.
D) Irrigation Ditch on the property and 2 - 18" CMP's south of the permit area owned by Sunrise
Ditch Company.
E) One main overhead powerline located near the eastern edge of the mine azea owned by Delta
Montrose Electric Association. A double pole set for this line is in the permit azea as shown on
Map C-1. The mine avoids this line, as shown in the mine plan.
F) One overhead powerline located neaz the southern edge of the permit azea owned by Delta
Montrose Electric Association. Although within 200 feet of the permit boundary, there is no
North R-34 Pit 1/07
48
