Mined Land Reclamation Board
Charles R. Nauta Pit No. 2 - File No. M-85-184
Dear Mr. Nauta:
On October 23, 1985, the Colorado P1ined Land Reclamation Board did issue a
civil penalty based upon the previously issued (September, 1985) Notice of
Violation and Cease and Desist Order for mining sand and gravel without a
permit. The Pit No. 2 is located north of Willox Lane in Larimer County.
A penalty of $100.00 per day for a duration of 13 days (total $1,300.00) was
assessed. The 13 day duration was calculated from August 8, 1985 (inspection
date) to August 21, 1985 (Board ordered Cease and Desist). An amount of
$1,300.00 is due and payable within thirty (30) days of the October 23, 1985
Board meeting or no later than November 22, 1985.
Please be reminded that the Cease and Desist Order still remains in full
effect until the proper permit is issued. Please feel free to call with any
