The questions are numbered in the same
sequence as in the September 18 letter and are shown in italics, with the Operator's responses
provided immediately thereafter. General responses to other observations or comments are
not italicized.
Description of Boundary
(1) Please provide a boundary description, or a Zisting of the group of claims, a map of the
entire permitted area boundary, or other form delineating the extent of the permitted
area.
Response: Two revised and updated maps are submitted herewith. The GENERAL
LOCATION MAP, 1" = 300', 9/25/03 Revision, shows the West Sunday 112 Permit
boundary. The original Permit boundary encompasses 21 unpatented mining claims and
a tunnel site claim corridor, as shown on the enclosed maps.
The WEST SUNDAY MINE ROADS AND VENT HOLES map, 1" - 200', 9/25/03
Revision, shows the West Sunday Mine 112 Permit area, including the tunnel site claim
that connected the mine portal site and the actual underground mine workings in the
original Permit. The tunnel site claim is no longer in existence; however, all of the area
between the portal site and the area of underground workings (and remote vent shafrs) is
covered by unpatented mining claims under the control of the Operator.
The Operator is proposing under this Technical Revision to modify the original 112
Permit boundary. The Operator is seeking to include all existing permitted disturbances
and to add past disturbances (i.e. the SJ-1 Vent shaft and nearby compressor installation)
within the proposed revised boundary. The northeast corner of the Permit boundary will
be extended a slight amount to completely incorporate the SJ-1 Vent Shaft and nearby
