Long <br />Division Director <br />Mined Land Reclamation Division <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Dear Mr. Long, <br />III IIIIIIIIIIIII III <br /> <br />UN 1. ? 1992 <br />lined Land <br />Gold Hill Ventures received your certified letter regarding the tailings pond liner dated <br />June 1, 1992, yesterday. <br />This letter is formal notice that Gold Hill Ventures will not conduct mining and milling <br />operations at the Cash mine and the Gold Hill Mill until the corrective actions required by the <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board have been completed to the satisfaction of the Division staff. <br />As you know from our previous meetings and discussions, Gold Hill Ventures has not <br />had anything to do with the milling operations conducted by Colina Oro Molina (COM, Inc.) <br />or by Mr. J. Wayne Tatman. Under the terms of the Milling Contract, we granted COM, Inc. <br />access to certain of our mining claims for the purpose of disposing of mill tailings in the <br />tailings pond and for storing water in the Hazel A, Wynona, and Time mines. COM, Inc. is <br />responsible for complying with all governmental permits, approvals, and regulations governing <br />its milling operations at the Gold Hill Mill. However, Gold Hill Ventures will make every <br />possible effort to insure that our Co-Permittee, COM, Inc., complies with the Cease and <br />Desist Order issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board on March 26, 1992. <br />Very truly yours, <br /> <br />Mark A.
