These
segments would then be hauled by trailer over the existing haul
-oada at Seneca ii and Yoast. A dragline erection pad was located
near the bohcut stripping area so that the dragline could be
;eaNsembled anti begin stripping operations. A meeting between
r~mp].oyees from Seneca and Peabody Western Coal Company was held at
the s,inesite on October 10, 1995. After.evaluatinq this method,
Seneca 3etermined that walking the machine to the Yoaet mining area
•v7au,ld prove more economical. The major savings involved
construction costs and time.
The new plan called for six (6) main permitting tasks to be
completed.
Easement. with Hallenbeck.
Easement with Maneoti8.
Basement with Carroll.
Permission from Westera Area Power Administration to walk
under powerlinas.
8armit approval from Routt County.
Permit dpprpval from D1Vialon Of Minerals & GeOlOgy.
Seneca and Peabody Western personnel meet with Mr. Lou Gaboa,
Caurty Engineer, Routt County Road-Bridge-Engiaeerinq Depts. to
discuss our glans on October 11, 1995. A°~ also mentioned that we would need a detour road for
P.o:Ttt Count; Road 27 (RCR 27) while the dragline was crossing it,
and allow for traffic to keep flowiaq.
