Refer to Table C-2 <br />for lists of species observed in these wetland areas. <br />Wetland <br />Location Photo <br />Number s Descriptions and Comments Jurisdictional Status <br /> This is a relatively large wetland area that has <br /> developed in response to leakage from the <br /> adjacent irrigation ditch. There are also <br />Wetland on east diversion points along the ditch that are used <br />side of irrigation to direct water to a ditch at the base of the Non-jurisdictional <br />ditch on west C-11 wetland. The major species in this wetland Isolated- not <br />side of site area include common cattail, woolly sedge and connected with <br />(W-C12) bulrush (Scirpus acutus). Soils are saturated existing drainages <br /> throughout this area and shallow standing <br /> water occurs in places. Hydrophytic species <br /> accounted for 7S percent of the observed <br /> s ecies. <br /> This is a small wetland that occurs in an <br />Small wetland excavated depression in the south central part Non-jurisdictional <br /> <br />in excavated of the site. Major species in this wetland <br />Isolated- not <br />depression C-12 include curly dock (Rumex crispus) and connected with <br />(YV-C13) barnyard grass (Echinochloa cras-galli). existing drainages <br /> Hydrophytic species accounted for 57 percent <br /> of the observed s ecies. <br />-30- <br />
