Based on your <br />responses, the Division grants final approval of the reclamation plan for the <br />Grassy Gap Mine. With reference to issue 116 (Extension of the Agreement) the <br />Division feels that March 31, 1993 would be a more appropriate extension date <br />since reclamation activities may continue into November of 1992. This later <br />date would provide time for bond release procedures, public notice, and <br />paperwork activities related to release of the site as specified in the <br />Agreement. <br />If Rockcastle agrees to March 31, 1993 as the date for completion of <br />activities outlined in the Settlement Agreement, please sign below and return <br />to me at the Division. <br />Thank you for your continued efforts to complete reclamation activities.
