PROPOSED PRE-BEARING CONFERENCE ORDER
IN THE MATTER OF THE WESTERN MOBILE -DEEPE FARM PIT- AMENDMENT 02
The Pre-Hearing Conference in this matter was held on June
5, 1997 before Board Member Harley Ernst, acting Pre-Hearing
Conference Officer. This Pre-Hearing Conference Order ("Order")
supplements and clarifies the Pre-Hearing Order issued on May 21,
1997 and will control the hearing in this matter.
This Order is proposed to the Mined Land Reclamation Board
("the Board") for its approval and, with any amendment made by
the Board, shall be effective upon the Board' s approval.
The formal public hearing shall be conducted according to
the Rules and Regulations in effect at the time of the hearing.
Any objections to the provisions of this proposed Order shall be
filed with the Division of Minerals and Geology ("the Division")
and served upon the parties by June 13, 1997. The Board will
consider such objections as preliminary matters at the formal
hearing.
I. FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING
The formal public hearing before the Board shall be held on
June 26, 1997, during the Board' s regular meeting, at 1313
Sherman Street, Room 318, Denver, CO 80203 (303-866-3567) and
shall begin at 9 : 00 a.m. , or thereafter.
II. PARTIES
The names of those who attended the Pre-Hearing Conference
on June 5, 1997 are set forth in Attachment A. Persons and
entities listed on Attachment B have requested that they receive
all notices related to this matter.
