Water level monitoring will be continued at this <br />location according to the prescribed monitoring schedule. <br />4. Comment; Field data indicates that Well AO-4 was tilled <br />in or loot ae early as October 24, 1984. Kerr Coal Company is <br />required to make every reasonable effort necessazy to replace a <br />destroyed xell as soon as possible. This well should have been <br />replaced during the 1985 field season. <br />$es~onse: AH described in the 1985 Annual Hydrology <br />report, which was submitted to your office on December 18, 1985, <br />Kerr Coal Company will, at the earliest feasible date is the 1986 <br />field season, either recover or replace Well AO-2. Until that <br />time, no data can be collected at this well. <br />Pursuant to your suggestion, Kerr Coal Company will submit a <br />technical revision request regarding proposed monitoring changes, <br />under a separate cover. Additionally, we are adopting a notifi- <br />cation procedure which will provide for prompt advisement of <br />problems with monitoring facilities sad associated deficiencies <br />in data collection. <br />I look forward to a continued amicable relationship between <br />Kerr Coal Company and the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Divi- <br />sion.
