Seeding will normally be done in the fall and/or spring when temperatures and adequate sod masture are <br />present. Seeding will be accomplished by either broadcasting, or by using a seed drill tf broadcastng ~ used. <br />seed rates will be doubled Due to the nature of the backfill material and topsoil found in the area, hay, straw or <br />fber mulch ~s considered to be necessary Mulching will be accomplished wdh a clean weed- free straw at a <br />rate of 201)0 pounds per acre either crimped or 'tacdied' at 150 pounds per acre "Biosol" fertil¢er will be <br />applied at a rate of at least 1000 pounds per acre <br />WEED CONTROL - If necessary. weed control measures will be employed for control of any nowous weed <br />species. Control measures will also be used if the growth of weed species on the reclaimed area Threatens <br />further spread of the weeds to nearby areas. In the event that weed conhol Is regwretl, herbrcbes will be of <br />those that are approved by the Sod Conservation Service and applied by a Incensed herbicide appher A Weed <br />Control Plan will be utilized as follows. <br />^ Asemi-annual inspecton of all disturbed areas by Trained weed control personnel. <br />^ Treat any dentifiad infested areas with a herb~rade recommended by the local weed control authority <br />^ Inspect the infested area after 2 weeks and re-apply herbicide as required. <br />^ Inspect the site ai 4-week intervals after the second inspection and re-treat as required <br />^ Any weed control refuse left from previous year s growth will be burned on ske <br />R6v ptkltUO3 <br />
