Lake Extraction Operation Timetable (Start Date is expected to be April of 2002) <br />Task Description Time Needed <br />1 Regrade embankment of river channel to grade stated in mining plan <br />(very little work is needed on this task since the channel is basically <br />at the desired grade of 2H:1V. 2 days <br />2 Construct jetty 5 days <br />3 Construct concrete block base along embankment (680 feet long) 5 days <br />4 Strip topsoil from lake extraction area 5 days <br />5 Place 14" soil on upper portion of embankment 5 days <br />6 Reseed upper portion of embankment 1 day <br />7 Place Excelsior blanket and Place spillway channel and riprap 2 days <br />8 Install sediment pond and discharge ditch 2 days <br />9 Mine 122,000 cy from the lake area and haul raw material offsite 60 days <br />10 Replace soil on inside of lake embankment and surrounding area 4 days <br />11 Reseed all soiled areas, disconnect pump and move portable equip- <br />ment offsite 3 days <br />Total: 94 days <br />10. Schedule of OQerations <br />Mining operations for river mining will only occur for a five to six week period once per year. This <br />time will either be in the fall or early spring when water levels are their lowest in [he river. The opera- <br />tor does not anticipate night gravel mining operations, although minor truck activity may occur after <br />hours. <br />Thomas Pit 2/02 23 <br />
