Corrective Action Plan Review Procedure
Dear
At the October 17, 1989 meeting of the Colorado Mined Land Reclaln3tion Board
concerning the Snyder Quarry, the Board discussed with all Dar ties the status
of the corrective actions ordered under the August 23, 1989 Notice ~f
Violation issued to Castle Concrete Company. The Board determined that
certain technical items regarding Castle Concrete Company's corrective action
plan remained unresolved.
As a result of the discussion, the Board instructed the Mined Land Reclamation
Divtsion to accept written comment regarainq Castle Concrete Compan~r's
correcttve action plan from the parties to the hearing on the Notlc~a of
Violation, to complete the corrective action plan review after considering
those comments, and to hold a briefing in Colorado Springs with the parties
after the Division has completed its review. This is to be accomplished prior
to the December Board Meeting. As such, the timetable for accomplis:hinq these
items is as follows:
October 25, 1989 Deadline for written comment fror~o the
parties on the proposed corrective action
plan .
November 15, 1989 Deadline for developing the final
corrective action plan.
