GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING REPORT <br />EAGLEVIEW DRAINAGE CHANNEL <br />SOUTHWEST OF "F" STREET AND 35T" AVENUE <br />~ GREELEY,COLORADO <br />TERRACON PROJECT N0.21035051 <br />JUNE 26, 2003 <br />INTRODUCTION <br />This report contains the results of our geotechnical engineering exploration for the proposed drainage <br />channel to be located_southwest of "F" Street and 35w Avenue in Greeley, Colorado. <br />The purpose of these services is to provide information and geotechnical engineering <br />recommendations relative to: <br />• subsurface soil conditions <br />• groundwater conditions <br />• foundation design and construction <br />• lateral earth pressures <br />• earthwork <br />• drainage <br />The recommendations contained in this report are based upon the results of field and laboratory <br />testing, engineering analyses, and experience with similar soil conditions, structures and our <br />understanding of the proposed project. <br />PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION <br />Terracon understands the project will consist of construction of a drainage channel that will begin at an <br />existing drainage pond, extend east and then north along the western border of the Stoney Brook <br />Development, and terminate at the north site of "F" Street. We understand box culverts will also be <br />constructed at the site. Sife grading information provided to us indicates cuts for the proposed channel <br />will be on the order of 6 feet. <br />
