SH ELTON, Director
Richard D. Lamm
Governor
DATE: March 12, 1985
T0: American Fuels Enforcement File, C-031-81
FROM: Susan Mowry Cj~
RE: New Pryor Strip
On March 6, 1985, I attempted to contact Mr. Raymond Wiley of
American Fuels, Inc. concerning non-abatment of NOV's C-84-176 and
C-84-177.
Both the mine and office telephones were found to be disconnected.
I was not able to contact anyone at the residential number that
Mr. Wiley had provided me. The secretary/receptionist at Can-Gain
Inc. (another number which Mr, Wiley had provided) informed me that
he was out for the day. I left a message for him to call me the
following day (Thursday). I did not receive any calls from him on
Thursday. I tried.to contact him again on Friday the 8th at his
home and the office. I was not successful.
On Monday the 11th he called me as a result of the message I had
left on Wednesday.
We briefly discussed the status of NOV's C-84-175, C-84-176, and
C-84-177, and CO C-84-174. He requested an additional extension for
C-84-176 and C-84-177.
I indicated that he would call me again on Tuesday the 12th to
continue our discussions.
/ph
423 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street Denver, Colorado 80203 Tel.
