Cattany Division Director Natural Resource Trustee On December 1, 2004, DMG received a request for reduction in the amount of financial warranty for partial completion of reclamation (SR-04). The various portions of the permit area referenced under SR-04 are located at 10,000 feet to 12,000 feet elevation and were obscured by snow cover during the review period. Therefore, the decision date, January 31, 2005, was extended due to weather. The site was inspected on August 29, 2005. Observations made during the inspection and recorded in the report generated from that inspection indicate that significant reclamation had been completed and that an adjustment in the bond was warranted pursuant to Rule 4.2.1(4). On October 6, 2005, DMG approved SR-04. Under SR-04 DMG approved a $353,849 reduction in the amount of financial warrant required for the operation. The existing $500,000 financial warranty may be reduced to an amount not less than $146,151.
