Dear Mr. Nelson:
On July 7, 2000, the Division of Miner Geology approved the succession of operators from L.N.
Properties, Inc. for this operation. Aspen Enterprises is now the pern fitted operator of the Shaffers Crossing, and
as such, is responsible for all provisions in Permit No. M-1978-208, as well as those specified in the Rules and
Regulations.
Enclosed is Amwest Surety Insurance Company Corporate Surety Bond No. 1075045, in the amount of
$2,500.00, and the Performance Warranty you originally provided. These have been released as of the July 7,
2000 Division approval for the succession of operators. You should advise your insurance agent or company of
the release by copy of this letter.
