EXHIBIT H
WILDLIFE INFORMATION - AS AMENDED
The following section discusses amended areas to the existing Sunday Mine Permit (Permit
Number MI977-285, issued September 3Q 1977 and amended May 23, 1983).
The five new vent hole affected areas within the Sunday Mine Permit Boundary are currently
being surveyed for the presence of threatened and endangered plant and animal species, other
wildlife, vegetative cover, and wetlands. Biological and cultural surveys for the areas of future
disturbance that are not yet determined will be performed when those areas are identified.
Biological surveys for all raptors will be performed when any disturbances are anticipated on the
cliffs of Gypsum Ridge near the face of the mine. Prior to disturbance, biological surveys for
Golden Eagles will be performed on all areas to be disturbed.
A request for recommendations was recently submitted to the US Department of Wildlife (DOW)
for the adjacent Topaz Mine site (March 9, 2007). Denison commits to comply with any
recommendations provided by DOW for the Sunday Mine due to its proximity to the Topaz Mine
and the similar wildlife habitat and conditions in the area.
