Keep L1p the good work. <br />I also want to inform you that the Division does approve of the <br />removal of the spoil pile :1t the truck dump with the stipulations <br />we agreed upon. Those stipulations are: <br />1. The spoil will be hauled to a local sand and gravel operation <br />free of charge. <br />2. Craig Sherwood must be present during the removal to insure <br />minimum loss of topsoil and to take pictures of the operation. <br />3. Needed reclamation work would proceed as discussed on page <br />90 of the permit amendment application. Due to the change <br />in abatement measures proposed, MLRD is hereby granting an <br />extention for time of abatement to February 10, 1981. If <br />you will have any trouble meeting this deadline please <br />contact me immediately. <br />In response to the revised sediment pond designs submitted by <br />James Greenlee on December 23, 1980, the Division hereby approves the <br />designs for the pond at the truck dump. Upon receipt of this letter <br />Snowmass Coal Company has thirty days in which to install the pond. <br />In addition, upon completion of the pond Snowmass Coal Company is <br />required under Section 4.05.6(7) to have the pond certified after <br />construction by a qualified registered professional engineer.
