III III III IIIIIII III
29587 Routt County Hoad #27
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467
303-879-3800

vUN 7 1993

As discussed with yourself and Don Homer of CDOH, CYCC proposes the
use of a pump, which will either be routed into the top of the
riser, or will be run down the face of the embankment to the
discharge point, to accomplish the necessary draw-down of the pond.
In addition to the pump, CYCC may also utilize a limited number of
siphon tubes over the embankment to supplement the de-watering.
These siphon tubes would also dischrge at the mouth of the
discharge culvert. Due to the routing of the supplemental
discharge, CYVCC would need to temporarily move downstream a short
distance from the established compliance point (at the end of the
discharge culvert) to monitor all discharge flow.
Weekly samples will be collected per our normal monitoring
requirements, and daily visual assessments are planned during the
supplemental de-watering process. CYCC does not anticipate any
problems with meeting the applicable water quality standards during
this process.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at
your convenience.
Sincerely,
s~%~%~9~'G~
Marcus A.
