As I had mentioned to you during our telephone conversation on Friday,
May 26, 1995, the silt fence at the development waste pile was (again) re-installed within a day of
the inspection, so that any runoff would be controlled. Rainfall has continued through the
weekend and today, so that proper maintenance of ditches or handling of soils cannot be
accomplished by the specified abatement date (May 31, 1995). At least two days ofdry weather
are needed for the equipment to access and work at this remote site.
Please contact me should you have questions.
Sincerely,
Kathleen G. Welt,
Environmental Supervisor
cc: Scot Anderson
David Berry, CDMG
Christine Johnston, CDMG
Phil Schmidt
