In addition, the topsoil marker
referenced in Step 3 was repainted and installed on July 7, 1993.
Installation and maintenance of perimeter markers to the noRh, west and south of the refuse pile has
progressed during the last two weeks. Currently, the perimeter markers subject to this NOV involve
approximately 84601ineal feet of disturbed area perimeter of which 6580 lineal feet has been marked. EFC[
intends to complete mazking the perimeter and marking the other specific areas Doted as rock dust bin,
substation, etc. These other disturbed are not designated with disturbed area boundaries on the approved
permit maps. Marking these areas is therefore going beyond Ure existing map information shown is the
permit application.
The information contained in this letter demonstrates that EFCI has made significant efforts to
complete the abatement steps of NOV C-93-101.
