.. -= <br />Notice of Formal Public Hearing <br />The Colorado Division of Mined Land Reclamation fthe Division) has issued an <br />Order to Show Cause Why Permit Should Not Be Suspended or Revoked )the Order) <br />to Blue Flame Coal Company (Permit No. C-81-035), under the provisions of the <br />Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act. The Order was issued based on <br />finding made by the Division pursuant to C.R.S. 34-33-122(7), that a pattern <br />of violations exists at the mine. The Blue Flame mine owned and operated by <br />L&L Energy Company is an underground coal operation located approximately 9 <br />miles southwest of Hesperus, within Section 31, T35N, R11W, New Mexico Prime <br />ideridian, in La Plata County. <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board will conduct a formal public hearing <br />concerning suspension or revocation of the permit at their regular monthly <br />meeting on June 26, 27, 1991 at 9:00 a.m. The hearing will be held in Room <br />318, Centennial Building. 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado. Any person <br />having an interest which is or may be adversely affected by the Order, will be <br />given an opportunity to voice their concerns at the hearing. <br />Copies of the Order and associated documentation are available for review at <br />the office of the Colorado Division of Mined Land Reclamation, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203. <br />5937F/lac <br />
