Area. <br />Dear Randy: <br />Enclosed is a copy of our wetland delineation report forth:. above-mentioned property. This <br />property was visited by Ms. Sue Noll o£your office twice this past summer, once with bfs. <br />Cheryl Driggers of Duckels Construction, at which time Cheryl was told that Duckels would <br />have to hire a consultant to map the wetlands and again a second time on 1 October 2001 with <br />myself at which time she fomlally inspected the wetland boundaries on this site and provided <br />directions on exactly how we should submit this wetland delineation due to the potential isolated <br />nature of many of the wetlands found on this site. She directed us to consider all of the wetlands <br />adjacent to the Yampa River flood plain as jurisdictional wetlands. In addition, she requested that <br />we add the limits of mining disturbance to the wetland delineation map and upon receipt of this <br />information she would be able to send us a letter approving the wetland delineation mapping for <br />this site. <br />To ensure that all of the information requirements contained in the recent directive from the <br />Corps of Engineers dated 30 November 2001 entitled "~Ytininurm Standards for Acceptance of <br />Preliminary wetlands Delineations" haven been addressed we have restated every informational <br />concern found in that guidance document has been restated and our response to that issue follows <br />in the attached narrative. <br />If you have any comments or questions regarding this submittal, please do not hesitate to call me <br />in my office at 970-638-4462 or on my cell phone at 970-734-6203. <br />Sincerely, <br />)' 1 <br />~ --~~i , <br />J <br />cc: ~1bfs.
