July 21, 2006 <br />Ms. Deb Gonima <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals & Geology <br />Department of Natural Resources <br />1313 Sherman St., Room 215 <br />Denver, CO 80203 <br />RE: DMG Permit Amendment; M-1982-015 <br />Siegrist Construction Company <br />Dear Ms. Gonima, <br />Colorado Department of Transportation is aware of Carma (Colorado), Inc.'s plans to re-grade <br />the existing southern berm of the ponds within the Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) <br />permit area referenced above, and to install geotextile fabric and rip-rap to the berm. <br />It is our understanding that this work will have no negative effect on our structures or any <br />significant, valuable and permanent manmade structure located within two hundred feet of the <br />affected land.
