'~ Fourth, we had to work within our coal trucking contractor's schedule to haul coal in
order to arrange and conduct the hauling of remaining coal waste material from the
Loma to the Munger site.
Last, we have had to work with and around the inclement weather here in the Grand
Valley -the worst winter I have experienced here since I moved East to Colorado.
I furnished Dan Mathews with a timeline and costs for work carried out at the Munger
Canyon, Loma and McClane Canyon sites. Particular regazd was paid to not just to the
basic cleanup work as a result of the storm, but the impact it had on the sediment pond at
the McClane site. The cost for work tamed out at the locations was approximately
$50,500, including rental of equipment and haulage costs, with an additional approximate
$10,000 expenditure on man-hours.
I would be more than happy to supply you with the storm report from the National
Weather Center, as well as the letter I sent to Dan Mathews regazding the schedule of
events and costs.
If you have any questions about the above, or you wish me to supply you with more
information or substantiating documentation, please do not hesitate to contact me at the
phone number below.
Sin
~~~~`~
Walter Whitledge
Mine Superintendent
Lodestaz Energy, Inc.
McClane Canyon Mine
P.O.
