Box 15596 <br />Lakewood, CO 80215 <br />Re: New Elk Mine (Permit C-81-012) Technical Revision No. 6-Update and <br />Modification of Drainage Plan <br />Dear Mr. Stout: <br />As a result of our conversation this date, the Division understands it is to <br />regard literally those elements of the proposed revision referenced above as <br />they are presented on maps submitted in company with your letter dated January <br />19, 1988 with the following exceptions to be addressed in your response: <br />West Portal Area <br />1. The diversion ditch leading from C22 will be numbered, properly <br />sized and included in the appropriate listing as to type. <br />2. D27 will be shown to empty into Containment Area No. 2. <br />East Portal Area <br />1. A numbered, properly sized culvert will be included in, the plan and <br />listings for D25 to cross any haul road segment encountered before <br />reaching the "drop inlet" as indicated. <br />2. A numbered, properly sized culvert will be included in the plan, and <br />listings for D2 to cross a haul road before emptying into Pond 3. - <br />The drainage plan proposed as TRO6, including the minor changes listed above, <br />will be in place by June 1, 1988.
