Referencing stipulation
17, "This report format should recognize the importance of
continual update oP subsidence data interpretation, monitoring
of ground water levels and spring flows, monitoring oP mina
inflow, and subaurfnae ground conditions which could ba
correlated to subsidence prediction.". (In earlier
correspondence between the Division and MCC, during the 1991
(9a) Permit Renewal, the Division determined that this
stipulation could be terminated beeause it had been
incorporated into the permit application. IIpan further ravinw
by the Division, it was noted that this stipulation contained
two parts. The first part, which required MCC to submit
reports of its eubeidenc• monitoring program on a semi-annual
basis has bean complied with ns stated previously; however,
the second part requires submittal of a revised report Format,
which has not been oomplied with. 81nca, the second part has
not been complied with, the stipulation was not terminated.}
Corresponding with Stipulation 17, MCC should conaidar, at
least, providing the information required in STEP 3, below, as
part o! MCC~e year-end submittal. The mid-year submittal
could inoluda a portion of this information.
~: Aa mentioned previously, the Division did receive a
Subaidonae Monitoring Report on January 19, 1996. since it
hoe been ono-and-a-halt years since the Division hoe had the
opportunity to review MCC~s subsidence data, the following
information must be submitted in order to abate BTEP 3:
1. A summary o! surveying techniques and monitoring schedule.
Z. The elevation difference between the current survey and
the last survey.
3. A comparison of predictions versus actual data.
a. A topography map with the subsidence monuments far tho
F-aoam and B-seam olearly identified, as well as the bench
mark monuments !or each subsidence monitoring network.
5. Amine plan map which shows where mining hoe occurred
since the last survey and where mining will occur until
the next survey is completed. This map should ba the acme
scale as the map requested in }4 above, ao that the two
mops can be superimposed.
6. A summary of the subsidence results to date.
