Walther
Eaecmne Direanr
Michael 8. Long
Division Director
I have reviewed your request for vacation of NOV CV-2001-011. I have decided to not vacate
this NOV at this time. While I understand that the removal of the coal from Section 17, T3N,
R93W was inadvertent and unintentional, and that Colowyo self-reported this violation to DMG,
I believe that the exVaction of that coal prior to obtaining final DMG and OSM approval is a
violation that is significant enough to warrant this decision.
Sincerely,
Michael B.
