SUMMARY: - 4 -
DEFINITIONS:
"Affected Land"
In the February 25, 2003 letter from Rocky Mountain
Materials & Asphalt, Inc.it is cl;eacl'y~;Stated that:
"As an owner of property that adjoins
our property."
Therefore, our property is affected and it is very possible our land
will be disturbed as a result of Rocky Mountain's mining operation:
We feel the aesthetic beauty of our land will be destroyed by their
operation.
We believe the noise, heavy truck traffic and much dust will create
great havoc to our property.
"Aggrieved"
We were very upset and. stressed when we received notice that a
Life of the Mine permit was applied. for; and that the operation
would be adjoining our property.
Although no one lives on the property.now,.we would suffer a
a great loss as this type of operation would:
a. .UPSET i3ny plans the family may have in the future for
their property;
b. spoil. any enhancement of that area;
c. would ruin the aesthetic view from our property;
d. affect the value of properties in that area;
e. As a neighbor to .this .type of operation, we would receive
the brunt of the pollution and toxins; and
f. we just don't want that type of operation fora neighbor.
Again, we are very concerned about what impact this operation will have on our property;
and hope these concerns and objections are taken into consideration and that Rocky
Mountain is not granted'ae.peem:fltc•.
However, we realize the final decision rests. with the Board; AND, we would also like
to know, IF THE PERMIT IS GRANTED:•
Would we still have access to our property, or
Would they cut us off?
Respectfully submitted,
/ June A. .Mr-amo Ei
714 East Mesa Avenue
Pueblo, Colorado 81006
