Both my sister, Joyce Simmon, and
myself, Ruth Moore, own property right across from where the gravel
pit will •be installed. 1 am really against It.
It will not only devaluate our property as far ss ever trying to sell it.
The noise from the trucks and all the heavy traffic will really deter
people from buying the ground. Also the contamination from the gravel
and dust will go brio the aqua fer. It Is not good for the soil or our well.
You already have a gravel pR and do not see the reason for another ono.
Also them are elk and arriebpe that cross there and they wfll be
irlgMened to death from the noise and commotion. People will not want
to live hear a gravel pit. The gravel pit should not be that dose to the
city limit.
I do not live In Buena Vista but my land will be affected by this gravel
p(t ff It la put there. I hope this letter makes you think of the
consequences of putting the gravel pit there and the effects down the
road from h.
