Box 1523 ) <br />Longmont, CO 80502 ) <br />T0: Colina Oro Molino, Inc. and Mi Vida Enterprises, Inc. and all other <br />persons engaged in or owning or controlling the following operation: Gold <br />Hill Mill located fn Section 12, Township 1N, Range 72W, 6th P.M., in Boulder <br />County. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />Pursuant to the authority vested in the State of Colorado Mined Land <br />Reclamation Board by C.R.S. 34-32-124, the Board hereby makes the following <br />findings of fact: <br />1. Colina Oro Molino, Inc. and Mi Vida Enterprises, Inc. are permitted to <br />conduct a mining operation under the terms of Permit M-83-141 located <br />in Section 12, Township 1N, Range 72W of the 6th P.M., in Boulder <br />County, Colorado. <br />2. The Mined Land Reclamation Board conducted a Formal Public Hearing on <br />September 21, 1994 to consider possible violation of the terms of <br />Permit M-83-141 and C.R.S. 34-32-101 et seq• <br />3. The Division of Minerals and Geology presented evidence at the Formal <br />Public Hearing on September 21, 1994, demonstrating that: <br />A. On September 14, 1994 mill tailings were spilled on the ground from <br />two locations at the mill building and from overtopping the <br />tailings impoundment. <br />B. On September 16, 1994 the Division received several citizen <br />complaints that tailings were not contained on the site. <br />C. Two Division inspections were made of the site on <br />September 17, 1994. The operator had collected the spilled <br />tailings and placed them in the tailings impoundments by the time <br />the second Division inspection was completed. <br />
