The summary contains <br />historical climatological and meteorological information and additional information <br />describing Grand Junction's topographic setting. <br />The summazy cites that the prevailing wind is east-southeast due to the valley <br />breeze effect. The strongest winds usually are from the south or southwest and are <br />associated with thunderstorms or with pre-frontal weather. <br />
