Final side slopes will be evenly graded with approximately 6 inches of <br />overburden and topsoil material. Pit side slopes will be mulched with grass hay, and the <br />recommended fertilizer mix of 18 lbs. of Nitrogen (N2) and 46 lbs. of Phosphorus <br />(N2O5) per acre will be added to the topsoil. The pit side slopes will be lightly disked <br />and harrowed to incorporate the seed. Seeding will be done from October 15~' to freezing <br />conditions to take advantage of winter moisture.
