Indicates depth of cutoff wall in feet, below the top of bedrock <br />4.6 Factor of Safety Variation with Depth of Cutoff Wall <br />The results from the parametric study were used in amass-balance spreadsheet to develop soil- <br />bentonite cutoff wall depth designs for target factors of safety of 1.0, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 1.9, and 2.3 <br />against the SEO Design Standard. The mass balance spread sheets for these factors of safety <br />are provided in Appendix B. <br />A summary of bedrock penetrations along the wall alignment for the respective factors of <br />safety from the parametric study are shown in Table 4.4.
