Cattany <br />Division DirecTOr <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />On September 7, 2004 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Conversion application submitted to the <br />Division on June 8, 2004, addressing the following: <br />The terms of the Conversion No. 1 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1991-083. <br />The conditions of the Division approval are noted below. Please note that all other provisions of Permit No. M-1991-083 <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />Condition No. Description <br />1 The maximum depth of the mine will be 45 feet. <br />2 The size of the excavated area will be between 5 and 10 acres at any given time, and the 5 acres <br />will be devoted to product stockpile, topsoil and related processing equipment. <br />3 There will be no asphalt or concrete plant, temporary or permanent, located at the mine site. <br />4 Operator must submit the SPCC plan to DMG, prior to storing any solvents, diesel fuel etc. in <br />the permit azea. <br />The estimated liability amount of $7,995 for the Ula Pit, when added to the existing liability amount of $30,000.00, <br />exceeds the performance bond held. If you have not already done so, please submit additional bond in the amount of <br />$23,000.00.
