EXHIBIT "H"
Wildlife Information :
The most significant wildlife resources on the affected land
are the deer herds. Deer herds use this area during winter and
early spring months. No threatened or endangered species exist
in the affected area.
The construction of the Meadow Crossing in the West Fork area
may have an effect on wildlife. There will be a permanent loss
of some seven acres of habitat in the Meadow and possibly some
interference with migratory routes . Although the alfalfa and
grasses found in this meadow area are not natural or required
habitat, deer use this area annually for wintering grounds. Due
to mitigating measures which will be taken by the applicant at
the suggestion of the Colorado Division of Wildlife, no long
term adverse impacts of wildlife resources are expected .
RECEIVE®
JUL 31 1981
MINED LAND RECLAMATION
Colo.
