Denver Brick Co. received approval on an amendment 6/12/95 to add 15 acres. This IS acres added to
the original 20 acres equals a total of 35 permitted acres.
2. In Dec. 2002 Acme Brick Co, as successor to Denver Brick, applied for and received an amendment for
an additional 7.35 acres, bringing the total to 42.35 acres.
3. The permit Mining Map Exhibit D by RE Monks dated 10/29/02, presently on file at your office, shows
an accumulation of parcels of:
18.39 acres + 9.68+4.18+7.35= 39.6 acres total
4. Entirely surrounded by these area labeled parcels is a 2.24 acre segment. This acreage was overlooked in
the long development of this permit by many changes in successors.
5. The addition of this 2.24 acre parcel added to the 39.6 acres identified on the Exhibit D 2002 map,
equals 41.84 acres .We have also shown a small .51 acre section as amended acreage to get the total
acreage up to the exact permitted acreage of 42.35 acres as permitted in 2002.
6. The Acme Brick Co respectfully requests that this (2.24+.51= 2.75) acres be included in the total permit
by Technical Revision that will be promptly executed.
7. We have provided a modified drawing Mining Map -Exhibit D-rev. 1 dated 10/5/06 for your use.
Earlier discussions with the State Board of Land Comm. indicated that this move would be favorable as additional
clay resources would be developed
Regards, ~,.~,
John Cona
Plant Mgr.
NOV: NONE
Annual Fee: 03/11/06 CW
