We request that you do an inspection
of the site to verify that the clean-up requirement has been met so that
Blue Ribbon Coal Co. can be released of any further obligation at the site.
I personally inspected the site November 1, 1984, to satisfy myself that the
clean-up was complete . There was no clearcut separation between the
pre-existing base and the low grade coal; but due to the fact that dirt was
hit at several places around the cleaned area, I feel that base was reached
adequately.
If you have any further questions , please feel free to contact me. If you
determine that additional clean-up is necessary , we need to know as soon
as possible to allow the work to be done by the deadline.
~,nYL.ou/~r/~s~ .truly, /j/~j
(((/ Julian T.
