30
• •
1 to speak up.
' 2 MR
HERNANDEZ: Sure
On June 30
we
.
.
,
3 received a complaint from Mr. John Covert that
4 additional off-site impacts had occurred in an area
' 5 separate from the Snyder Quarry access road in a
6 drainage that would be draining into the Williams
7 Canyon area. On June 30, the same day that we
' 8 received the complaint, we made a copy and sent
9 Castle a copy of that complaint. It said we could
l0 schedule the site for an inspection of the week
' 11 fallowing the 4th of July weekend. On July 6, I
12 inspected the site with representatives from Castle,
13 Mark Hefner and Gorden Morgan, present. And what I
' 14 would like to do now is show some slides of
' 15 predominantly the area that received the rocks and
16 drainage to the west of the permit area.
17 ( Slide s,how.:.pr.ese.nt~at.i,on ;.),,...,..,: ~ , _ ..
18 Where I am standing now is in the

19 Phase 1 area, the area that's already been
' 20 permitted. The proposed Phase 3 area lies on this
21 other side of the drainage, a little bit to the
'
22 northwest. What I am looking down now is the east
23 slope of the drainage that lies between the present
24 permitted area and the proposed area in here. What

25 this shows here is that, from my u-iderstanding -
1
MIDYETT REPORTING SERVICE
' (303) 424-2217
